What does Assignment/Load delta mean ?

  • Load = the number of employees I need to hold a position at a particular time

  • Assignment = the number of employees that I have assigned to my position, in my schedule

An article explaining the charge is available via the link below :

The availability matrix will therefore allow you to quickly identify during your week :

  • how many people are needed in relation to the load indicated

  • how many people are available (with or without shifts)

These indicators can be displayed or not via the selection of a filter.

How does this matrix work ?

Summary Table

By selecting the “Show allocation/load delta” filter on your schedule, you will be able to display allocation indications as seen above.

Definitions and explanations

Missing assignments

  • In "All schedules" view = sum of all charges entered by shifts

    • (load required on all positions and sub-positions, on all shifts, over the day) ➖ (number of good assignments on all positions and sub-shifts, on all shifts, over the day)

    • In “shift A” view

      • (load required for all positions and substations on shift A) ➖ (number of good assignments to positions and substations, on shift A, over the day)

As soon as you assign an employee to a position for which a need has been identified, the number of missing assignments will decrease.

Collaborators available

  • In "All schedules" view = sum of all available people (with or without shifts)

  • In "shift A" view = sum of all available people who have shift A + all people who do not have shifts

As soon as you assign an employee to a position for which a need has been identified, the number of available employees will decrease.

Verification of compliance with the load by positions/substations

  • Alert non-compliance with needs

    • For each position/substation, you will have an indication of whether or not the requested assignments have been respected (eg : 5 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, etc.)

    • In the event that the needs are not respected / fulfilled, you will have a visual indication :

    • By clicking on this alert, you will be able to quickly identify what is causing the problem

There may be an alert if :

  • missing assignments compared to requested load

  • employees assigned to the wrong shift (if we request 5 people in the morning but, in the schedule, we assign 5 people in the afternoon, we will have an alert)

  • excess employees compared to the requested workload
